Captain Horatio Hornblower (1951)

 

Another cinematic masterpiece filled with adventure, drama and glory. Every scene is beautifully shot with so much detail and attention, a labor of love.

A British captain sailing around the horn to the pacific and back, fighting the Spanish then befriending them and fighting the French by the end.

Pon no Michi (2024)

 

This Anime is still airing as of writing this post, currently at episode#2. It's about a group of friends who found a cool hangout place, where they would play Mahjong (because it's a Mahjong anime..). What I enjoyed about it so far is the actual parlor where they chose to hangout, it's a nice place with a small kitchen and Mahjong tables. 

In the second episode they made friends with this girl who's well-mannered and all proper, she brought with her a suitcase. 

Inside it was a beautiful tea set and some sweets! 

She's quite diligent too, as it came out looking good! I would really like some of that..

All I can say is that I highly approve and looking forward to the next episodes.

   

Hanaukyou Maid-tai (2001)

 

Fun and cute anime about a teenager who inherited a mansion from his grandfather and with it a ton of maids. The main character is allergic to girls sadly but the interactions and the different divisions of maids make up for it. Apart form the head maid there are Medical, Security, Intelligence, Technology and "Personal" divisions.

Looking for it online, I found it on Nyaa.

The Show has a beautiful opening, that gets me to bob my head every time.

I only watched the TV short, which included 15 episodes of ~12 minutes. It is not for all audience however as it is as ecchie as they come.

Loved the attention to details on this corridor. The whole mansion gives a Versailles Palace vibes and I love it!

Just a random art teacher.

I think it's the art style, that makes her so cute.
